New Client: Chesnut Engineering

May 20, 2011

HUNTINGDON VALLEY, PA – Praxis Communications is pleased to announce a contract agreement with a new full-service client in the package printing industry, W.R. Chesnut Engineering, Inc. of Fairfield, NJ. Chesnut has been designing and manufacturing custom rotogravure printing systems for the packaging and labeling market since 1973. The company was the first press manufacturer to enable printing of shrink-wrap security closures following the Tylenol murders, and has engineered press equipment to print self adhesive postage stamps, currency, lottery tickets, trans-dermal medical patches, and many other innovations.

Through the 1990s, Chesnut enjoyed a very strong reputation for its strengths in engineering among the printing/converting trades, but the company is currently not as well known among new contacts in the industry. Praxis has been engaged to re-invigorate its brand identity and awareness and manage its new business strategy. The goals of the program are to generate more new leads opportunities coming to the website, and update the company's online destination to make a compelling case for Chesnut's skills and technology, and to encourage conversions and generate inquiries.
