Praxis Triples Site Traffic For Matcor In Three Months

June 20, 2008

Matcor LogoHUNTINGDON VALLEY, PA – Praxis Communications is proud to announce that it successfully completed a short-term project to improve site traffic from natural search for its new client, MATCOR, Inc. of Doylestown, PA. As a direct result of implementing specific tactics within the site structure and contents, MATCOR's site traffic tripled during the time of the 3-month contract period. Furthermore, the total visibility score for primary and secondary keyterms tracked in Praxis’ Web Position reports improved from 215 to 737, a 342% improvement in that time frame.

“We have much more to do,” stated Praxis president, Alan Gladish, “but the CMS (content management system) structure prevented us from making certain important structural revisions to the site without a further agreement with the client on this scope. And while we have done some of this, we also intend to research and acquire additional new incoming links to help improve search engine popularity.” This is a measure of the site's perceived popularity by the engines as determined by the number and type of incoming links that favor it.

During the 3-month plan, Praxis also set up and managed a Google AdWords pay-per-click campaign, to help analyze and inform future keyword optimization strategies. As a result of the success of this project and others, MATCOR and Praxis are working on a long-term strategic relationship that includes a full range of services, such as ongoing SEO, web site restructuring, marketing/advertising, etc.
